ANNA Promotion - Bands: Dimmz

Biography:
Dimmz is a rockband with four guys in the age of 26-29 from Kristianstad in the south of Sweden. They were formed in 2005 by four guys, Andreas Karlsson, Sonny Andersson and Andreas Eriksson and it didn´t take long until their very first demo was recorded. After a few gigs and songwriting they recorded their second demo and kept on rehearsing and writing songs. The music has always been old school rock with a modern touch.

The big turning point came in 2007, when they recorded their third demo titled “Ways in life”, which was recorded live in the studio. They also got a new bass player in Jens Åkesson. With this demo they got gigs all over the country, and some radio stations in USA started to play their songs. They also appeared on several festivals with well known bands, such as Backyard Babies, Hammerfall, Pain etc. and also supported Deathstars at one of their gigs. In the beginning of 2008 they were signed by Blue Topaz Records and have recorded their debut album “This is Live” in September.

Dimmz just loves to get on stage and sees itself as a great live act whose music shall be experienced live! They are leaving nobody unaffected with their energy on stage so check them out!
