Biography:
SARIOLA is a Female Fronted Gothic / Black Metal institution from the Ruhr-Area / Germany.
The band was founded by E.Konny and Anagnorisis in 2005. SARIOLA’s music is a unique mixture between Gothic and Black Metal with influences from other styles like Death Metal, Trash Metal, Darkwave, EBM, Industrial as well as Classical Music and Impressionism. With such a sound diversity, SARIOLA keeps the music enthralling and avoids predictability.

In 2006 SARIOLA finished recording its first album called “Sphere of Thousand Sunsets”, which got a lot of positive reactions from the international press and brought the band a solid fan base all over the world.

After various line-up changes, SARIOLA was enriched in 2007 by the talented musicians Morgan Le Faye – Keyboards, AblaZ (Gods Army, ex-Fearload) – Bass, and Morbid (Deus Inversus, Demise Empire) – Drums.

At the end of 2008, SARIOLA started recording their next album called “From The Dismal Sariola” of which a demo will be released in March 2009. “From The Dismal Sariola” is even faster and darker, on the other side has a lot of dreamy moments and Gothic charm. The songs still provide the very unique musical mixture, for which SARIOLA is known, on the next level.
