Project Independent Metal-Compilation 2009
It continues! The predominant positive reaction for the project as well as the many sendings for PIMC 2008 have encouraged the plan of Eyra Records to continue promoting bands in this way in the future. Therefore, you can look forward to a new compilation in 2009.
Eyra Records will release another Independent Metal-Compilation in the spring of 2009 and you can be part of it! This time it will be a little bit more rock, with the focus on hard rock and classic heavy metal. All you have to do is send your best song to Eyra Records. If you want, you can also send them more to choose from. Out of the sent material about 17 Songs (depending on total length) will be chosen, which fit best to the label and harmonize most on the sampler. Only one song per band will be published.
Conditions for participation:
• Own composition and text
• No sole instrumental or cover versions
• Title must be “GEMA-free”
• Length of song should be around 3 minutes
• Payment of participation fee of 99,- Euro + 19% VAT. Naturall, the fee incurs only if your song will be released. For this fee, every published band receives 50 professionally produced Compilation-CDs delivered free (Germany), which can be freely disposed of (this way higher earnings can be made by the band as compared to the common single-digit shares)!
The CDs are ready for commerce in heat-sealed foil and produced in a German press shop with article number, labelcode, barcode etc. These CDs will also be offered and of course promoted through the label, respectively its distributor, on the market (e.g. amazon.de, musicline.de, x-bone-shop.de, iTunes, Napster, Müller etc.)!
Please only participate in this project if you agree with the conditions of participation!
Your advantages:
• All rights to your song remain with you
• Your song will be released on a premium quality Compilation of an aspiring label
• Besides your music, your contact information and band picture will be published
• Announcement of your band on the labels homepage
• Promotion of the Compilation through the label
• Additional promotion through the other participating bands
• You receive 50 CDs delivered free (Germany) and can resell them
• The cheap final price (approx. 2,- Euro) is not only a good alternative to expensive single-band-releases but is also an additional, testimony of quality reference for your band discography
• No long-term contract binding necessary
A compilation, which can be offered low-priced or as give-away, is an ideal method for a band to conduct promotion. But unlike usual demos, which have to be sent out by the band to different addresses, in this case the other participating bands also take part in the distribution and therefore also promote your band! And who can bring the music to their fans better than a band itself?!
Circulation will be approximately 1000 CDs.
A contract will confirm that all rights to the material will remain with the band unexceptionally!
